I bought Greek Grammar Beyond the Basics as I was starting an exegesis for my Intermediate Greek class. The first thing I did for the project was to go through each of the words in my passage using Wallace to figure out what the syntactical possibilities were for each word. This book was so much more helpful than other syntax books that I have tried to use. It is logically organized and concise, but not too concise. And Wallace sends you to other works that present a deeper exposition of syntax in his footnotes for those who want more information. This is a great book for an overview of Greek syntax.
